Our Story & Heritage

Rooted in Kodagu

The Harvest of Western Ghats

Coorg Harvest was born out of a desire to share the genuine wellness traditions and rich culinary flavors of Kodagu (Coorg) with the rest of the world. Nestled in the high altitudes of the Western Ghats of Karnataka, Coorg is blessed with deep red soils, high rainfall, and dense canopies of evergreen forests.

It is in this rich ecosystem that our crops are nurtured. Under shade canopies of rosewood and wild jackfruit, our coffee berries ripen slowly. Along cardamoms creeping in shady moist glens and black pepper climbing tall silver oak trees, each spice develops rich essential oils and intense natural aromas.

Every single spice grain, honey drop, or tea leaf we pack is a reflection of this pristine micro-climate.

Empowering Smallholders

Support for Local Growers

Traditional farming in Coorg is under pressure from climate shifts and commercial broker chains. At Coorg Harvest, we bypass brokers entirely. We buy directly from small estate owners, household picklers, and indigenous honey gathering groups in South Kodagu.

By ensuring fair trade payouts and sharing modern botanical research, we help preserve traditional multi-crop plantations. This biodiverse farming protects local bird habitats, soil health, and water tables, making our products truly sustainable.
